For more than two years, the Municipal Theater "Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam" served as a terrain for research and experiments with photographing crawling spaces and other architectural "negative spaces".

The project was concluded with the photographic installation "Viewing Lines". Six large photo panels, depicting hidden spaces, somewhere else in the building, are installed in different lobbies, staircases and hallways. The choses site of the panels are directly related to the represented space on the photograph. The connection between the two sites; the photographed space and the site of installation, suggest to create a passage from one space to the other. It is important that this connection can not be realized physically, but only in one's imagination.
