Afer a long history of 125 years, the fashion store "Maison de Bonneterie is going out of business. The classical buildings in Amstedam and The Hague, constructed in the style of the nineteenth century Parisian Galleries, is taken over by a modern fashion brand.

Remodelling the stores requires a "total make-over". The buildings are stripped to the bare walls and decorated again.

This process offers a unique opportunity to explore the buildings in their most essential state of being. The photographs in this gallery show the two buildings, in Amsterdam and The Hague. The photographs are mixed, as if both buildings are one.
