Het oeuvre van beeldend kunstenaar Ronald de Ceuster (Breda, 1960) bestaat hoofdzakelijk uit installaties die zich altijd verhouden tot de ruimte.
De ruimtelijke tekeningen, zoals hij de installaties noemt lijken tekenen van verval, kwetsbaarheid en fragiliteit te zijn maar roepen tegelijkertijd een gevoel van speelsheid, lichtheid en vrijheid op.
De laatste jaren is de Ceuster bezig zijn theaterachtergrond te integreren in zijn beeldend idioom. Zijn installaties zijn nu niet alleen autonoom beeldende werken maar vormen ook een ruimtelijke omgeving voor zijn theaterperformances.

The oeuvre of visual artist Ronald de Ceuster (Breda, 1960) consists mainly of installations that always relate to space.
The spatial drawings, as he calls the installations, appear to be signs of decay, vulnerability and fragility, but at the same time evoke a feeling of playfulness, lightness and freedom.
In recent years de Ceuster has been busy integrating his theater background into his visual idiom. His installations are now not only autonomous visual works, but also form a spatial environment for his theater performances.
