| Na vele jaren objecten te hebben gemaakt heeft Guda Koster zich inmiddels ook toegelegd op het maken van geënsceneerde foto’s waarbij zij vrijwel altijd zichzelf afbeeldt. Gehuld in zelfgemaakte kleding, het gelaat meestal verborgen, verbeeldt zij vervreemdende situaties. Feitelijk wordt het model in de foto tot object gemaakt. De foto’s waarin zij figureert zou je kunnen zien als foto’s van levende sculpturen. In het verlengde hiervan creëert zij tegenwoordig ook performances, waarbij haar kostuums gedragen worden door acteurs die zich als levende sculpturen in de ruimte opstellen. |

| After many years of making objects, Guda Koster has now also focused on making staged photos in which she almost always depicts herself. Dressed in homemade clothing, the face usually hidden, she depicts alienating situations. In fact, the model in the photo is turned into an object. You could see the photos in which she figures as photos of living sculptures. In line with this, she now also creates performances, in which her costumes are worn by actors who act as living sculptures in the space. |
